Bridge Church is lead by Pastors Dustin & Sarah Fergusson.
The church partners with New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) which is a trans-local ministry team, with an Apostolic heart, that is comprised of men and women who, through partnership, help Pastors/Elders build their local churches in doing the work of Jesus Christ’s Kingdom in their areas. Our work is in equipping and mobilizing believers for the fulfillment of the work of the Kingdom and the discipling of nations. Our mission is to know Jesus and to make Jesus known!
Our heart & Values
We long for Newcastle to see and hear about Jesus and His finished work and to see the Kingdom of God extended and advanced in every way possible. Our hope is based on the endeavour to encourage, equip and build up the local church. (Ephesians 4:12)
WE DO THIS FROM TWO BASIC FOUNDATIONS:
1. THE CHURCH IS ABOUT JESUS AND HIS KINGDOM
Everything we do accomplishes bringing glory to Jesus. The church is the only thing Jesus is building and we believe the church is God’s plan “A”!
(Matthew 16:18 ; Ephesians 3:10)
2. THE BIBLE IS THE INSPIRED AND AUTHORITATIVE WORD OF GOD
It is the only acceptable standard for life, ministry, and conduct in the church (2 Timothy 3:16). We are committed to allowing this standard to direct our lives, both individually and corporately, in order to see God’s truth established in our lives and on earth.
